Pop Singer Seal: lucky in love, unlucky in courts

Pop star Seal has been ordered by London's High Court to pay up, to the tune of nearly $1 Million dollars, to John Wadlow, his former manager owed past commissions from his first two albums. Justice Charles Gray ruled in favor of the ex-manager, and that the Grammy award-winning singer - real name, Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel, "was contractually obliged to pay the commission -- more than 10 years after they stopped working together." According to the Times Online website. "Seal, whose hits include "Kiss from a Rose" and "Crazy," was ordered to make an interim payment of 500,000 pounds by July 21."
Seal argued "that Wadlow was not entitled to the commission, saying that the agreements between them were the result of undue influence and constituted an unreasonable restraint of trade...and later felt that his ex-manager had "ripped him off." All reported by the Times Online. Monsters & Critics reported earlier that Seal and his German supermodel wife, Heidi Klum, 33, were expecting their second child together.
