The American audiences are eating up the wave of the U.K. personalities, Simon Cowell, Chef Ramsay, and now Deeley. All have hit shows, and are extremely popular.
Deeley's "dance" show draws in more than ten million viewers. Deeley will still be seen on the air in the U.K., she is set to interview Kylie Minogue, the Aussie popstar who battled beast cancer on a Sky One program. Kylie personally requested that she be interviewed by Deeley. The show will air mid July.
Deeley's a Birmingham-born stunner, and no doubt is well on her way to making it big across the pond. "I'd reached a point in the UK where I was very established and doing lovely work," she explains. "I could have gone off and had babies and worked for three months a year. But I'm 29 years old and I just feel I want to do more. Actually, I want to do everything." Deeley stated in reports to Hello!
Happy in her new home in the Hollywood Hills, Deeley commented on her current view. "It's amazing," she says, "I just have to walk out into my garden, look up, and see the Hollywood sign."
