David Schwimmer vindicated in court

Schwimmer is no "skimmer" of gratis Rolex watches, according to reports released that the 39-year old actor was "falsely accused" by celebrity fundraise Aaron Tonken back in 2004. Schwimmer's publicist announced on Friday that the actor was awarded $400,000 in his lawsuit brought against Tonken, who in past was on record with the National Enquirer that the "Schwimmer had requested two Rolex watches in exchange for appearing at an event." The watches worth approximately $26,000. According to court transcripts, Schwimmer had labeled Tonken "a scheming pathological liar" and accused him of being "bent on castigating Schwimmer and other celebrities by concocting bogus stories." Since the ruling, Tonken has issued an apologetic statement, retracting his remarks.
