Jessica Simpson denies divorce song claims

Jessica Simpson has denied rumours her latest song is about her divorce from Nick Lachey.
It has been claimed the star's upcoming single, 'A Public Affair'- which features lyrics 'All the girls stepping out for a public affair / All night, let's rock cause the party don't stop / You know the cameras come out for a public affair'- has been penned about her estranged husband.
However, the 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress insists the song is about having fun with her girlfriends. Her spokesman said: 'Everything she does is a public affair but this is about having fun.' The video for the single - which is the first from her upcoming album, 'And The Band Played On' - has been filmed by 'X-Men: The Last Stand' director Brett Ratner. The promo features blonde Jessica roller-skating and having fun with a bunch of girlfriends. 'And The Band Played On' is out in August.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

I think that nick toatly messed with her. I thgink that she is way better with out him. She needs to get everything in order weith her life and start making great hits agian. I heard her new single and it rocks. I think this should be her best album out there. I think that nick did nothing to help her and that he is a rude fuck who messed with her. Ok...all you idiots need to get one thing straight. You know as much as I do about Jessica Simpson and the dissolution of her marriage...and that is...nothing. Just because you read some garbage in a magazine (although you made like it to be) doesn't mean it's true. So...making comments in reference to her not being 'adult enough' to keep a marriage...(Is it honestly mature to come on to websites and talk smack about people who are cuter than us?) I don't think that Nick or Jessica cheated on each other. They just made a tiny mistake of letting publicity in their life. I mean they probably shouldn't have had Newlyweds as a show. Sometimes, when you first get married, you don't think about what could happen. That how the media got into their marraige life. After a time the media turned on both of them. The media blamed Nick for cheating and blamed Jessica for cheating. None of that is true.

I love Jessica Simpson no doubt and reading a few of these peoples comments are right. Jessica Simpson is a smart person and is no where near stupid. I mean she may have her moments but hell who doesnt have a dumb moment in their lives. and when I read the first comment....fucker you need to shut the fuck up and get your own damn life. I do think its alittle dumb for Jessica to respond to Nick's song but what she does in her life is her desicion. I love Jessica Simpson and her song is a good song.

People get divorced every day. Don't blame either one of them. They were fortunate enough to get divorced before they had any children, adopted or not. Two adults made a decision to marry and then it didn't work out and they divorced, END OF STORY...I wish Jessica and Nick happiness in whatever they choose to do and that they move on without any scars.

jessica simpson is stupid and her song is not very good at all. She is a pretty girl, but she is definitely not that educated. On the Newlywed Show she acted like a spoiled brat when she couldn't get her way. If she is such a good person, then why is not giving Nick half of her income for the years that they were married? If that is your role model, then I feel sorry for you.

If Jessica was adult enough she would of stillbe married, keep parents out of one marriage/relationship. Her father instigated the end result of her marriage why bother wrting about them.. realisticly speaking she is not pretty or beautiful Nick is better off she is just a 'Dumb Blonde' who allow others to get into her bed
