According to Harper's Bazaar, Lindsay Lohan is toying with the idea of opening her own high end fashion boutique.
Currently hitting the screens in " A Prairie Home Companion" by director Robert Altman, the actress/singer - a self confessed clothes horse, admits she wants to "fill a high-end store with top designer clothing - just so she can be a part of the business."
"I'd only do it (start her own store) if Karl Lagerfeld was interested, or Tom Ford. Or Alexander McQueen. Or Jean Paul Gaultier. Or Proenza Schouler." According to Harper's and Lohan herself.
Lohan has reportedly commented to the effect that there is so much fashion, so little time to wear it all. She eschews locking on to just one designer. "Yves Saint Laurent's collection is genius for fall. Balenciaga is amazing. And I love Rick Owens and Alessandro Dell'acqua and Giambattista Valli and Roland Mouret."
Considering the recent public dissing by portly billionaire heir, Brandon Davis, who made light of her "poor" financial status as well as her red hair color, carpet and drapes, it just may be a good move. Lohan, unlike other similarly aged "actresses" running around Los Angeles, actually has talent and is making very good role choices.
Long after the anorexic rich blonde brigade starts to show some wear (or just passes out from lack of protein), she will be sitting pretty. Just stay away from those usual suspects Linsday. Listen to Meryl!
