Victoria Beckham is designing a jewel-encrusted watch for Geri Halliwell's baby girl.
The brunette has been working on the pricey diamond timepiece - thought to be worth a staggering £25,000 - ever since the fellow Spice Girl announced she was expecting a daughter.
An insider told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: 'Victoria wanted to give Geri something unique so she is designing a mini watch from the exclusive Tiret range. High profile jeweller Daniel Lazar and her pal Damon Dash own the luxury watch range, so it all seemed logical. 'It's specially designed for a small child - gold, with a pink face studded with tiny pink diamonds.' The source added: 'Victoria wanted Geri's daughter to have something special that she could use when she's older. 'Hopefully it will be the watch she learns to tell the time with.' The watch is just one of a collection of gifts stars have bought for Geri's baby, who was born last week. The former Ginger Spice's pal, George Michael, is also reported to have set up a £500,000 trust fund for the tot.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
