Pete Doherty's clean sweep
May 18, 2006, 13:59 GMT
Pete Doherty makes his fans tidy his house.
The drug-addled Babyshambles singer asks admirers who gather outside his London home if they would do odd jobs for him.
Some clean his home, while others help him with his laundry and his road tax forms.Meanwhile, the singer says he always knew he wanted to be a star - because he was always attracted to excitement. As a child, he loved watching football matches because he loved the 'carnage'. He told Britain's Sunday Times magazine : 'It was the complete chaos I liked - the carnage. And also the noise, when the crowd burst into song. Amazing. I wanted to be the cause of that. 'It was about being noticed and subconsciously feeling important.'
