Jennifer Lopez is turning grey.
The Latino beauty's tell-tale roots were clearly visible down the centre parting of her otherwise golden locks at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday (07.05.06).
An onlooker said: 'People could barely believe their eyes. She looked stunning in every other way but everyone was distracted by the inch-thick grey-white root.'J.Lo, who is due to turn 37 in June, was accompanied to the 2006 NCLP Alma awards - which recognises Latin performers and was hosted by 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria - by her husband Marc Antony. The 'Maid in Manhattan' actress is usually the talk of the red carpet because of her famously curvy backside, but on this occasion the groomed star let her perfect image slip. The onlooker added: 'Considering it was one of the biggest events in the Latino calendar, you'd have thought she would have found time for a trip to the hairdressers and a quick re-tint.' Meanwhile, J.Lo has complained that people misunderstand her by thinking she is a spoilt greedy actress. She said: 'I think people think I'm driven by the money thing and all the stuff. They get it so mixed up that they forget that I started doing it because I love to perform.'

From what I heard, Marc Anthony had J.lo on BIG TIME CHECK! He appeared very jealous and possessive! CORRECTION: Jennifer Lopez did not want to dance at the Alma Awards. She looked at her husband Marc Anthony and reached over to him like saying 'HELP ME' and so he held onto her other hand. It was definitely awkward but hey if the lady doesn't want to dance she shouldn't have to. Especially when she is a grown woman with her husband, is she really gonna run up on stage and shake her ass?
