Spelling ties the knot

Tori Spelling has got married.

The former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star tied the knot with Dean McDermott in a non-denominational ceremony on a private island in Fiji on Sunday (07.05.06).

The actress told America's People magazine: 'We didn't want to wait another day to get married.'

McDermott added: 'I've never had as much of a desire to get married and make a woman my wife as I've had with her. The feeling is overwhelming. We're soul mates.

'It was so magical. All the stars aligned. I have never been happier in my life.'

The couple were both married when they met while they were filming TV movie - 'Mind Over Murder' - in Ottawa, Canada, last summer. They got engaged in Toronto on Christmas Eve.

At the time, Spelling said: 'It just happened. No one meant any harm to anyone. You can't help who you fall in love with and who you're right with.'

McDermott has since shown his love for his new bride with tattoos, including one on his wrist which reads 'Truly, Madly, Deeply, Tori'. The other is a portrait of her on his shoulder.
