Johnny Depp sues over shopping center

Los Angeles (dpa) - Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp is suing to stop a luxury shopping center that he claims will destroy the views from his 5-million-dollar home in the Hollywood hills.
According to reports Monday, Depp claims that the 10-million- dollar Sunset Boulevard project violated environmental-quality laws and blocked the views from the grounds of the estate.
City officials dispute the claims and maintain that Depp spends most of his time in France, raising two children there with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis.
