Nick Lachey burst into tears six times as he told an interviewer about his split from Jessica Simpson.
The 'Newlyweds' hunk couldn't control his sobs as he discussed his impending divorce from his wife of three years.
The singer admitted he was devastated the pair had broken up - and confessed he would tie the knot with the blonde actress all over again if he had the chance. He is quoted by Britain's Heat magazine as saying: 'It breaks my heart that I couldn't make Jessica happy. 'I wanted to be everything to my wife. I'd marry her all over again because I still love her. It would be a lot easier to walk away if I didn't.' Lachey also commented on speculation Jessica had cheated on him. He said: 'I don't know if there were other men. But if she did cheat, it was the result of something bigger, not the reason we didn't work.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
