Whitney Houston rehab reports

Whitney Houston has reportedly checked herself into rehab in a bid to kick crack cocaine.
The singer - who has a well-publicised history of drug problems - is said to have entered the facility without telling husband Bobby Brown.
Whitney's sister-in-law Tina Brown is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: 'At first he thought she was just off on another drug binge. 'It took a few days to find out from Whitney's family that they had talked her into rehab. All Bobby told me is that she is in treatment, in a secluded place.' The news comes after Tina claimed the former diva was hooked on crack cocaine and living in squalor. She said Whitney - whose stunning looks have apparently been ravaged by her habit - holes up at seedy crack dens for weeks at a time, indulging in her habit. Shocking photographs taken by Tina showed the star's bathroom littered with drug paraphernalia, including a crack-smoking pipe and cocaine-covered spoons. Tina told America's National Enquirer magazine: 'The truth needs to come out. Whitney won't stay off the drugs. It's every single day. It's so ugly. Everyone is so scared she is going to overdose.' It won't be the first time Whitney has attended a drug treatment centre - she checked into rehab in 2004 and again in 2005.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

Sorry Sherry I totally disagree with you, Whitney's drug problem existed long before Bobby and besides that, we as people have choices in life. We can choose to be a crackhead, alcoholic, dope dealer or whatever, no one is to blame for our actions but us. She decided to smoke crack, she didn't have to, but now is not the time to say who's at fault. We should now be praying for Whitney in hopes she'll recover not bad mouthing her, I don't care if she's been in rehab a million times, who are we to judge her? Just keep positive thoughts and pray she'll recover she really need the support at this time and so does Bobby, he appears to be trying to clean up his act. Remember they are still human regardless to the fame and fortune and they should be given a fair chance just like everyone else.
It is sad...crack is crack...sad but true. We have been trying to reach Whitney fro years that there is hope. Our ministry knows how to conquer crack for good. We hope someone will get our ministry information to her family. Rehab id a good place to get away from crack but she has to still face the real world when she gets out. Thank God! I hope Whitney gets the help she needs this time. As one living in recovery 17 years, a day at a time, I understand completely what Whitney is going through. I don't blame Bobby at all. We all have choices, we all know the difference between right and wrong. To blame someone else, takes the accountability factor off the person it should be on...It is much easier to blame someone else for our downfalls...
It's a struggle Whitney, but you can do it!!!!
People! Let's just pray that whitney will soon recover. I really want to see her sing again. I have seen and witnessed some stars with same conditon as her but they're able to recover and bring back the fame they had lost before. Where are her relatives? They should be the one to help Whitney. Just hole on Whitney. Let's just continue to pray. It will really help a lot.

Monica you are speeking the real thing when it comes to family being there. This tina girl is doing nothing but making money off of whitney. I think the crackhead is this girl. You guys are all nuts. I don't feel bad for her at all. It was her choice to take drugs so she is exactly were she desereves to be. The world is too overpoulated anyway so one less person would be a move in the right direction.
Besides if she is that weak of a person to let the drugs take the best of her then she will not kick the habit anyway.
Whitney should do whatever she wants to do. Drugs are not bad for Whitney. She is in high now. She is flying high from New York to Miami via Hollywood. She finds peace at last. Crack is good for Whitney because she can stay thin. Hey, she used to be a model. You guys are jealous because she is skinny. By taking crack Whitney shows she is a human too and get connected to many people. She certainly want to distant herself to Hollywood glamour. She reaches out to many people around the 'street'. She needs a break. Do you know how hard to sing I Always Love You live? The crack will wash her pain. Maybe now she is resting and watching American Idol from her golden spoon. I have to agree with the comments made by Sherri'. I am 54 yrs. old and was introduced to drugs (every one on the market) at around 21, by 'FRIENDS.' After a some years I found that all the men I was attracted to, involved with, were also addicts.
Addicts with Addicts don't make good Cakes. When I decided to finally clean up my act for good in 1999, I went into a day treatment program, got the tools I needed to help me clean up my act, and by 2000, I was counseling other women and men in similar situations as I had fallen into. Addiction is something that we use to MASK personal problems after the Joy and Fun of using Drugs longs disipates.
We have to pray for Whitney, as Sherri stated, all of her problems as known to the Public stimmed from her meeting and marrrying Bobby. But we cannot put all the Blame on Him either. We have to first take responsibility for our own actions and then, we remove ourselves from any, 'PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS' that were apart of our addictions, and start our lives over clean and fresh. Whitney is so gifted and so Blessed and Prayer is what she needs most from us, her devoted fans.
Only Prayer will pull her out of the Pit of Addiction and only Prayer will Keep Her Clean.....God Bless You Whitney.
I agree with Dr Phil Jr....leave her alone:) If she doesnt want to get help and change....I say no more. Probably, Bobbi introduced her to drugs and she got hooked big time. She doesnt know the meaning of recreational. She got carried away like many 1st time people.

I have been offered drugs but said NO. I couldn't give two monkeys about Whitney Houston, she had it all and has wasted it, not only that but ruining her daughters life too. Luckily for her she can have kids, I have none plus medically not too well, open heart surgery - twice; plus a kidney transplant but now back on dialysis. Why not write about real lives, she's a waste of space why should i care whether she lives or dies, she obviously doesn't. Use druggies for medical science.
The downfall of Whitney Houston has to be one of the saddest stories in the music industry. Here is someone that had the most amazing voice in the business; a great life and all that goes with it and throws it all away thanks to drugs. Getting mixed up with Bobbie Brown was the beginning of the end and I felt it would be a matter of time when she would be sucked into his element.
Whitney needs to rid herself of his influence. I hope her family and true friends can rally around Whitney and to help her get back on her feet.
Bobbi Brown wants alimony so does Tina. They will buy more crack, too. They wants her to fall hard. They want their piece of cake too. What a husband..eh?
Shame on you who think Whitney's life has no value. And especially to the person who thinks she should remain on Crack! Only thing I can gather is you yourself are addicted and can't break free so you are fine with another life being wasted uselessly. God Almighty has created each and every one of us and we have TREMENDOUS value and worth in His sight. ALL things are possible to the person who truly believes. And if Whitney can find the faith to believe, she will break free once and for all from this terrible addiction to Crack. Satan wants all of us to drive ourselves into the grave by foolish choices, but Jesus has a great plan for our lives and fully holds us up when we are at our weakest moments. I believe He's holding up Whitney now. And it is of the UTMOST importance who she continues to allow close to her side. Our family and friends are like buttons on an elevator, they will either help to take us up or take us down in life. I pray she chooses those she allows closest to her very wisely. Yes we are all ultimately responsible for our own actions, but those closest to us will have a tremendous impact on the outcome of our lives. Like a wise man once said, 'Show me a mans closest friends and I will accurately, without error, predict his future for you'... No one is an island. God Loves You Whitney and He is on your side! People may give up on you but He never will!

Attending in patient rehab is just the begining for this battle you are fighting. It is a daily battle that only you can fight. My hat goes off to your in laws for planning this intervention.

We can sit here all day long and put the blame of Whitney’s drug addiction on Bobby (Brown), but the truth of the matter is- Whitney's her own problem! (This coming from a former crack addict who's been clean for the past 15 years.)
And, let's not be ignorant to the fact that Whitney has been around drugs all her life! This introduction goes back to the days when her mom and aunt were big time celebrities. However, she experienced her own personal drug usage during her early teens. So people can sit in denial all day long, but I'll say again, Whitney's her own person....and her own problem!
I personally believe her problem started with her spiraling career and not wanting to face the reality of it.
So let’s stop passing blame and pray for Whitney’s recovery!

I just want to let Mrs. Whitney Brown that I am praying for her and her family. It's not easy being under a microscope and everyone having a solution without knowing the problem. She is a human being with issues and burdens to bear just like the rest of us. For someone to find her downfall news worthy is sad and hurtful. Not just to her but to every christian that loves her like Jesus loved us in our mess. If I could just give her one hug and let her know that if I could take away the pain I would. Even though I can't I know my GOD can. I feel for you Mrs. Brown and for your family too. I too was a victim of the world and it chewed me up and spite me out. But one day the Holy Spirit took hold of me and held me so tight that I knew GOD came for me. I'm not going to tell you to stop your reckless behavior and I'm not going to tell you it's easy, but I am going to tell you that no matter what you go through and how deep you go, I am going to continue to pray for you and love you as my christian sister and carry the pain with you. all we can do for whitney right now is to continue to pray for her. that is all she needs and not apportion blame to who is responsible for her present state or not. i strongly believe with God, all things are possible and also that she is going to come out of this a changed person. everyone deserves to be loved no matter what. same as whitney. she deserves our love right now and lets just give it to her. let us love her like we want others to love us because love conquers all.

We all need to be praying for her, no blaming, just praying. I have never smoked
crack, however I know the effects it can have. My husband was addicted to crack for years. I saw him change right before my eyes. Prayer is the only thing that will help her now,Whitney i am praying for you just as though you are my sister, in which you are in Jesus eyes.You know your father, reach into your soul and cry out unto the Lord, he still hears you girl, he is the only one that can truly help you. I have read more about Whitney than I ever did when she was at the height of her career. Another fault in our society! My real concern in all of this is their daughter. Let's lift her up! Let's let her know to hold her head up and be determined - even when people tease her or she reads the hurtful comments about her parents. Another thing, Tina Brown - SHAME ON YOU! MAY YOU REST UNCOMFORTABLY UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR DEEDS AGAIN! AND THIS WILL COME BACK TO YOU! THROWING MUD GETS YOUR OWN HANDS DIRTY!

I never thought the craving would subside. My personality had fallen to a low I never would have imagined before crack. It was either die or hate crack so very much I could condemn it from my soul. Now after 18 years drug free, I never even think about crack cocaine except with great hatred for what it did and does to others. I am healthy and happy and free to love again. I love Whitney's music especially 'Your love is my love'. I hope she will chose life.

I have been a fan of Whitney's for many years. Still am. I saw her in concert at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC where it was taped for HBO. She was absolutely great. I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer. I have faith that Whitney will make it through her hard times and come out strong and on top of her game. And for all those unbelievers out there and for all those that are trying to permanently pull her down into their own miserable pits, you will not succeed. It just ain't gonna happen. Watch and see. Whitney will show everyone how much of a strong, black sista she truly is. Remember where you heard it first.
Jesus is the only way whitney will beat her addiction to crack...

To all of you Whitney Houston Fan's......Thanks for the support. Whitney has dipped in drugs before so I can't say this is all Bobby's fault. What we need to do as a peolple is pray for her recovery. Pray that God will deliver her from he life of darkness she's in.
Whitney is a beautiful woman with alot going for her. I believe in Whitney and I encourage all to believe in her as well.

It's such a tragedy what has happened to Whitney Houston. In my opinion all her drug problems started when she met Bobby Brown. As everyone knows he was once an addict himself, meeting Whitney and bringing her down with him. It's sad to see her the way she is now. Looking at Bobby Brown he doesn't seem to be doing as bad as her. She may go to rehab and kick the habit for a while(if she kicks it), but soon or later she will go bad to her familiar habits if she continues her relationship with Bobby!
