Nicole Richie has rubbished claims she has an eating disorder and insists she is healthy despite her super-slim figure.
The 'Simple Life' star, who has been at the centre of speculation about her weight for months, claims she is naturally skinny and isn't even on a diet.
She told Glamour magazine: 'Am I thin? Yes, no doubt about it? But to say I'm on the verge of death is just untrue.' Nicole, the adopted daughter of 80s pop star Lionel Richie, insists the constant sniping about her figure is distressing to her family. However, the pretty brunette says her father never questions her about her eating habits because he knows she has a healthy appetite. She added: 'My family gets really upset to see these people writing lies about their child. 'Do they ask about it? No, because they know that I eat.' Earlier this month, Nicole confessed she is addicted to junk food. The TV star revealed she loves to gorge herself of fatty treats, and her favourite is Mexican food. She said: 'I'll pretty much eat anything. I'm a big Taco Bell fan, a real fast food eater.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
