Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed by Louis Vuitton bosses who have dropped plans to make her the new face of the label.
Instead, the exclusive contract has been handed to Naomi Campbell who will now replace Leonardo DiCaprio's ex Gisele Bundchen instead of the 'Mean Girls' actress.
The change was reportedly ordered by the label's designer Marc Jacobs, who is rumoured to be good friends with Lohan. A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Marc is great friends with Lindsay and she loves his clothes so it was no surprise rumours were flying that he was pushing his French bosses to get her to star in their campaign. 'But they thought Lindsay was too American for their global brand.' Campbell is said to be thrilled to be have been awarded the contract.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
