Kate Moss avoids drug charges

Kate Moss is to avoid criminal charges over allegations she snorted cocaine.
The supermodel is unlikely even to be cautioned - meaning she will not have a criminal record.
Kate was questioned by police in January after she was photographed apparently using the drug at a London recording studio with then boyfriend Pete Doherty. The 32-year-old issued a statement admitting 'full responsibility' for her actions after the photographs were made public. But the case was brought to a halt when Kate refused to admit any criminal actions during police questioning. Legal sources have confirmed to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper that unless sensational new evidence arises Kate will be cleared. However, Mary Brett, a prominent member of campaign group Europe Against Drugs, has blasted the decision insisting it sends the 'wrong messages to young impressionable people'. She fumed: 'There is a general acceptance in society that cannabis use is almost normal and that cocaine use - amongst celebrities - is almost fine.
