Michael Jackson's sister: He's wonderful

Mar 25, 2006, 13:59 GMT

Los Angeles (dpa) - Michael Jackson's sister La Toya Jackson says the former pop star is 'doing wonderful' and has confirmed that he never intends to return to his fantasy California estate Neverland.

Jackson has been living in Bahrain for much of the time since his acquittal last June on charges of child molestation and has now laid off most of the Neverland staff.

'He said he would leave and never come back and he didn't care or want Neverland again,' La Toya Jackson told the TV show Access Hollywood Friday. 'He felt that his privacy was invaded, so its time to leave and that's what he did.'

When asked how her brother was doing she added, 'Thank you for asking, he is doing wonderful. He is doing really well and he is happy with where he is and I'm happy for him for being so happy and content with his life at the moment.'
