Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber's relationship is on the rocks, according to US reports.
Despite everything appearing to fine on the surface the couple are said to have told friends that they're going through a rough patch.
A source said: 'He's been telling people he's having 'girlfriend trouble'. She's been telling people to keep an eye out for new boyfriends.' Watts - who has made it to Hollywood's A-list thanks to the success of 'King Kong' - has reportedly told friends she is finding the 'Scream' actor too controlling. An insider revealed to America's New York Daily News newspaper: 'He wants her to stop working entirely and have a baby. 'He wants to review all her script offers. He even likes her to look a certain way.' The couple have been together since last spring (05) - after meeting on the set of 'The Painted Veil' - and, last December, were rumoured to be seeing a fertility specialist. apparently this discussion is not about whether or not naomi watts or liev schreiber is pretty or ugly, but about shameless gossip-mongering, and the irresponsible passing on of nonsenses and incorrect information.
btw naomi watts is definitely one of the most beautiful women today.

there're 2 other nonsenses in this writing, both not from the so-called u.s. reports.
1. after her break-through performance in 2001 'mulholland drive' which had earned her numerous critical awards, naomi watts made 'the ring' in 2002, which was a box-office hit. this was followed by '21 grams' in 2003 for which she was nominated for the oscar best actress award. naomi watts' hollywood A-list status has come before and has nothing to thank 2005 'king kong' for.
2. naomi watts met liev schreiber the first time during the event of the costume institute gala in may 2005, and not on the set of the painted veil which started filming in sep 2005.
