Charlotte Church's Walkers crisps deal
Mar 20, 2006, 13:42 GMT
Charlotte Church is set to become the new face of Walkers crisps - after signing a £100,000 deal.
The sexy singer will star in a new 1930s style advert with football legend Gary Lineker, after being won over by the humour of the proposed ad.
A source close to the 20-year-old told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: 'Charlotte turns down loads of ads and promotions but she loves crisps and likes the ads. 'Charlotte thinks the ads are really funny. They are sexy but with humour, which is just the type of woman Charlotte is. She can't wait for filming to begin.' The Welsh beauty is following in the footsteps of Helena Christensen, Victoria Beckham and Sarah Ferguson, who have all appeared in the adverts with 'Match of the Day' host Gary. Meanwhile, Charlotte recently revealed she would quit singing for the sake of her boyfriend Gavin Henson. The feisty brunette would give everything up for the rugby ace, saying: 'If I had to choose between him and singing, I'd definitely choose him over my career any day of the week. 'He makes me feel so special.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

Why does charlotte church have to degrade the welsh language and attitude with the new adverts? not only does she make herself look a fool but to every welsh person watching it makes them cringe. shes embarrassed herself bigtime here!and it shows that other than being welsh in this advert theres no other reason for her being in it, because she doesnt look classy or elegant in any manner, we all know that!!!im so annoyed!i really used to have sympathy for the stick she used to have as a youngster and enjoying her money, but the humour in this advert is awful.
