London - British top model Kate Moss has resorted to acupuncture in her fight against drug-taking as former rocker boyfriend Pete Doherty declared his continued love for the supermodel Thursday.
Doherty, 26, appearing again in court in London on seven new charges of drug possession, drove up in a gold Jaguar which had the words 'I love Kate 4 eva' (I love Kate forever) scrawled on its window.
The car also displayed an out-of-date tax disc, it was reported.
The Babyshambles frontman, who has a history of drug abuse, is widely seen as being behind Moss' latest trouble over drug-taking.
Video pictures published last September showed Moss snorting cocaine in a London studio where Doherty was recording.
Since then, the model, 32, is said to have separated from the singer. She has also apologized for her actions and embarked on a rehabilitation course.
Press reports Thursday said Moss had turned to acupuncture to control the stress and strain resulting from her struggle to fight drug-taking.
She was spotted with tiny square plasters in her right inner ear, which the Times said proved she had embarked on a course of acupuncture to fight addiction.
Sue Cox, founder of Smart UK, an organisation specializing in the use of acupuncture against 'substance misuse,' said she believed that Moss was 'on the right path.'
Cox said there was 'no doubt at all' from the photographs that the model was undergoing a programme of acupuncture.
During sessions that last for 40 minutes the patient must sit quietly without talking.
Moss spent several months out of Britain after the disclosure of her cocaine habit, and was treated in a rehabilitation clinic in Arizona.
Leading fashion houses cancelled their contracts with her over the drugs scandal.
