Keira Knightley's jeweller blunder

Keira Knightley - the face of Asprey's jewellers - is in trouble for promoting a rival firm.
The star, nominated for an Oscar for her role in 'Pride And Prejudice', wore a Bulgari necklace to the star studded Hollywood event on Sunday (05.02.06), instead of one of their designs.
An insider at the ceremony said: 'They are absolutely b****y furious. 'There have been reports of a looming financial crisis at Asprey, so it's their second PR disaster this week.' Although Asprey have refused to comment on the claims, it is not known how the blunder will affect her deal with the Royal jeweller. Meanwhile, Keira was forced to change out of her stunning Vera Wang dress after the ceremony - because people kept standing on it. The stunning 20-year-old actress admitted she was ready to party after the event - despite not winning an award - but was sick of people clambering all over her gown. She revealed: 'I was wearing a fabulous dress - it was beautiful but it had this long tail and people kept treading on it. 'I heard it's a real crush in the party so I thought I'd change into something that people wouldn't stand on.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
