Rachel Weisz's unborn ovation
Mar 7, 2006, 16:48 GMT
'The Constant Gardener' star Rachel Weisz felt her baby kicking all the way through the Oscars ceremony.
But the actress - who is seven months pregnant - says the moment she went up to collect her award on Sunday night (05.02.06), it stopped.
Rachel revealed: 'With the lead up to that, the adrenaline, the baby was going crazy. 'Poor baby. It was kicking around, but once I went onto the stage I think it's so overwhelming that I could have hardly told you my name.' The star also ruled out calling her unborn child, 'Oscar' - despite winning her first Academy Award. She said: 'There are a few names that we are considering. 'We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but Oscar isn't amongst them.' Rachel is expecting her first child with director Darren Aronofsky in early spring.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
