George Clooney thinks Matt Damon is the sexiest man alive.
The handsome actor believes his friend, who he became close with while shooting 'Ocean's 11' is 'hot' and should receive an award for his good looks.
Clooney, who also starred in the Oscar-nominated 'Syriana' with Damon, told Britain's Independent newspaper: 'Matt's hot. Look at him. He deserves to be People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive!' Unluckily for Damon, Mathew McConaughey currently holds the title. The hunky actor, who is dating Latin beauty Penelope Cruz, was bestowed the honour last year and admitted now he is officially the world's sexiest man he can let himself go. He joked at the time: 'Now I've made it. Wait until you see the roles I could take after this 'You're going to see my gut hanging over, plus 22lbs. It'll be a whole new kind of sexy!' The publication said they awarded the 'Sahara' star, famed for his rugged good looks, the title because of his 'heaping helping of Texas's finest Southern charm'.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
