Will Smith just a big softy with kids

Jada Pinkett Smith says husband Will Smith lets their kids get away with murder while she is touring.
The actress-turned-rocker - who has two children with the 'Hitch' star - says he's too soft.
She told American newspaper USA Today: 'They're not supposed to watch TV during the school week, but he lets them. 'I call home at 10:30 p.m., and Jaden says, 'Daddy said I could stay up with Trey'.' However, the 'Wicked Wisdom' front woman thinks he still does a good job. 'Will has to parent the way he feels he needs to parent. When mommy comes home, it's a different ballgame.' Meanwhile, the 34-year-old admits she gets lonely while touring with her band. She revealed: 'Most of the time, the children are on the road with me. Will comes in and out. 'He was just home with them for about a week, while they finished a project for their home-schooling curriculum. Jada added: 'This would be impossible if my kids didn't enjoy being on that bus with me.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
