Jen, please be my friend.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (USA)    A recent European survey has revealed that people will clock up a staggering 363 friends during one's life - but only six of them will be true friends!

It seems women are more sociable - seeing their friends every 3.5 days, while men catch up with their mates every five days.

What exactly makes someone an absolute best friend over others? Is it there willingness to stand by a person's side at all times?

Friendsation.com a web to mobile social network community recently polled over 20,000 members on which celebrity they would most like to have as a best friend. The winner was 'America's Sweetheart' Jennifer Aniston garnering nearly 33% of the vote.

No data was given as to why Jen was the favorite but given her recent struggles it seems quite possible that people look for someone they feel an emotional connection with when choosing a friend.

Rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs came in 2nd with 26% of the vote. Rounding out the list were Gwen Stefani, Courtney Love, Pamela Anderson, her on again off again hubby Tommy Lee, and motocross star Carey Hart.

Based on the members votes, it seems most people wanted a best friend who was down to earth, friendly, not married to Brad Pitt or Jennifer Lopez, and above all loyal when life gets crazy.
