Courtney Love has sold her New York apartment.
The former Hole singer will get $5.25 million for the 4,200 square feet home in the city's trendy SoHo district.
Love - who was married to Nirvana's frontman, the late Kurt Cobain - bought the home in 2000 for $2.6 million.Earlier this month, the 'Celebrity Skin' rocker was released from house arrest after conquering her drug addiction. Love was sentenced to six months in rehab for probation violations last August. However, Los Angeles Judge Rand Rubin said she must continue counselling and submit to twice-weekly random drug tests. At the time, the widow told the court: 'I feel great. 'I've been spending my days playing guitar and have put a very gnarly drug problem behind me.' Meanwhile, Love has told RollingStone.com she has recorded a set of new songs with ex-Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, including one called, 'How Dirty Girls Get Clean'. The mum-of-one said: 'I feel like I'm getting my creativity back. 'I've been really inspired lately and have remained inspired.'
