Heidi Klum fat scandal

Heidi Klum has been blasted for telling an 8 stone girl she was too fat to be a model.
The stunning supermodel told the catwalk wannabe on TV show 'Germany's Next Supermodel' that she was not slim enough to make it in the fashion industry, adding: 'Top designers need only girls with dream figures.'
German beauty Klum, who is a judge on the popular programme, has now been accused of encouraging young girls to starve themselves in order to become models. Eating disorder expert Dr Ulrich Rau said: 'I consider such a TV show to be very dangerous. Most of these young girls who want to be models are already too thin.' It is now believed the show could be axed after angry viewers flooded German broadcaster Pro-7 with a host of complaints. Klum, who is married to British singer Seal, has not yet commented on the furore her outburst has caused.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
