Michael Jackson is set to attend the London premiere of 50 Cent's new movie on Tuesday (17.01.06).
The eccentric singer has allegedly asked the hip-hop star for tickets to the first night of 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin'' - but is waiting to see if it will be safe for him to attend.
A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: 'Michael really wants to go but it's up to security to decide if it will be safe enough on the night.' Jackson was mobbed by over-excited fans during a recent visit to London. The star took his children to see musical 'Billy Elliot' last October - during his first stay in the capital since he was acquitted of child sex abuse charges - when a horde of admirers surrounded him. The 47-year-old singer was thrown to the ground by the fans, and had to be helped off the pavement and taken to safety by security. An onlooker revealed at the time: 'Michael was trying to protect his children as they walked through the crowd but it was absolute chaos.
