Joaquin Phoenix is struggling to find love because of his fame.
The handsome actor admits he is finding the dating game a problem because women meet him for the first time and already claim to know everything about him because they've seen him on TV or read about him.
He is quoted in Scotland's Daily Record newspaper as saying: 'I met a girl recently and we were out at dinner and suddenly she announces, 'I'm a vegan.' I knew she got the information from a magazine and thought that she should say it so we had something in common. Normal things, such as, 'Are your parents together?', they already know.' Last month, Phoenix was reported to have had a steamy on set affair with co-star Ginnifer Goodwin while filming the Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk the Line'. The 'Gladiator' star allegedly romanced the screen beauty throughout shooting but then cruelly dumped the actress - who played his wife in the movie - the day before they filmed their character's break-up scene.phoenix's spokeswoman, Susan Patricola, denied the affair ever took place, saying: 'Can you have a romance without going on a date?'

Mr. Phoenix did such a great job in walk the line. It made me recall many of the Cash songs and infact got some for Christmas. My daughter tried to trick me and put a Phoenix tract on my mp3 player and it took me a couple of takes before I caught the nuance that was the diference but very little. The chemistry between Phoneix and Reese witherspoon was excellent as well.She did a good June Carter. I hope we will be seeing more of these very talened and interesting stars. Also we Canadians noted that John proposed to June in some remote ontario place when in fact he propsed to her in LONDON, Ontario! It is a matter of record. If these people dont get some awards for their work then I wont pay the $10. to see another movie - honestly.
