Farrell sex tape still for sale
Jan 13, 2006, 13:39 GMT
Colin Farrell's sex tape is still up for sale, the owner of website dirtycolin.com - which was reportedly shut down by Farrell's lawyers on Wednesday (11.01.06) - has claimed.
John Taylor denied reports he was told to shut down the website by Farrell's lawyer for selling the explicit footage and said it had simply crashed after too many fans tried to log on.
The 'Alexander' star was said to be fuming after discovering the tape - which shows him and playboy model Nicole Narain engaging in explicit acts - up for sale for $14.95. Narain's lawyer, Leodis Matthews, and Farrell's lawyer, Martin Singer, allegedly joined forces to get the Federal District Court in Los Angeles to shut down the website, and warned legal action against anyone who attempts to sell the illicit recording. Farrell's publicist, Danica Smith, said: 'A website attempting to distribute an unauthorised tape of Colin Farrell was shut down. Mr. Farrell will take legal action against anyone who tries to distribute this tape.' Matthews said: 'We're extremely upset. This is a black-market release. Nicole is not getting a dime from this. We're outraged - $14.95 is a ridiculous figure.' But Taylor told website jossip.com that it was actually the high volume of web traffic that closed the site down, not Farrell's lawyers.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
