Los Angeles - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger needed 15 stitches for a cut lip after a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to his press secretary.
Schwarzenegger, 58, was driving with his 12-year-old son Patrick in a sidecar when he hit a car that suddenly backed into a street. The former Hollywood star collided with the auto at a low speed, according to spokeswoman Margita Thompson.
Both Schwarzenegger and his son were wearing helmets and after treatment for minor cuts and bruises at a hospital, were released. The driver of the car was not injured.
The governor is expected to resume his normal work duties on Monday.
