Clooney's casino plans to be scrapped

George Clooney's plans to build a Las Vegas casino are set to be scrapped.
The Hollywood heartthrob, who had teamed up with Brad Pitt and Cindy Crawford's husband Rande Gerber to build the complex, announced plans for the gambling paradise last summer.
But now the proposed project is in trouble and could be scrapped completely because the trio are reportedly struggling to obtain planning permission due to other developments being given the go-ahead in the same area instead. Clooney had previously said he would be donating his share of the profits from the casino to charity. Last week, Clooney said he wanted to impose a no flesh rule at the proposed casino. The handsome actor insisted he would ban punters wearing shorts or tank tops because he wanted a smart establishment. He said: 'When I was filming 'Ocean's 11' in Las Vegas, I met with Rande, who owns all these great bars, and we started talking about building a casino and how we would want to do it, which is to dress it up a bit - no shorts and tank tops after 6pm.' He added: 'I grew up watching my aunt sing in Vegas and everyone used to put on a jacket to go to the casino.
