Michael Jackson's family fear he is hooked on prescription drugs
Dec 8, 2005, 13:55 GMT
Michael Jackson's worried family fear he is hooked on prescription drugs - and are planning an intervention.
The eccentric star's relatives are said to be jetting to his Bahrain hideaway - where he has been living since being cleared of all charges at his child sex trial in June - because they fear he is popping pills.
A source told America's New York Daily News paper: 'The family is in a state of emergency. They consider it a life-or-death situation.' Michael's brother Randy has allegedly urged the family to rally round after Jackson's nanny, Grace Rwaramba - who cares for Prince Michael I, Prince Michael II and Paris - called him for help. The source claimed: 'Michael is bingeing again. Grace basically said she can't handle him alone. 'The family is in a tailspin.' However, the singer's spokesman Raymone Bain says the report is 'a total lie'. He insists the singer is not using narcotics, saying: 'He is clear-headed and articulate. He is not on drugs. It's false.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
