Johnny Depp's old shirt has fetched £1,800 in an internet auction.
The heartthrob actor sent the linen garment - which he wore in new movie 'The Libertine' - to a British fan after she wrote asking him to donate something in aid of charity.
According to reports, the garment was sold to a woman in the US. Earlier this month, it was revealed the hunky actor had to be careful filming a saucy sex romp for the new film - in case he broke the antique bed he was romping on. Staff at English stately home Montacute House kept a close eye on the star while he was shooting raunchy scenes on a 16th century bed because they were scared the passionate moments might damage it. House steward Sharon Masters said: 'It's a beautiful priceless oak carved bed. 'I was on set for the love scenes and thankfully nothing was damaged.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
