Phil Spector trial set to start on April 24

Los Angeles - The murder trial of legendary music producer is set to start on April 24th, the judge in the case has ruled.

The 65-year-old producer is charged with murdering actress Lana Clarkson, star of the cult movie 'Barbarian Queen,' who was shot to death in Spector's mansion on Feb. 3, 2003. She was 40.

Spector has pleaded not guilty and is free on bail of 1 million dollars.
