Australia abuzz over report Kidman and Urban are engaged

Sydney - Australia was rife with talk Thursday over a report that native daughter and Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is engaged to award-winning country music singer Keith Urban.
The talk spread after 'Entertainment Tonight', a show-business television programme in the United States, quoted sources close to the couple as saying the pair were readying for marriage.
Glossy magazines have speculated that Kidman and Urban are expecting a baby, but the pair have denied they are anything other than good friends.
Stoking the story were pictures showing Kidman wearing a diamond band on her ring finger while walking along a Boston street with Urban.
Kidman's Sydney publicist Wendy Day would not comment on the report.
