Joss Stone has admitted she still loves ex-lover Beau Dozier - despite ditching him.
The teen soul sensation split from record producer Beau last week after romancing for two years - but confessed he is still the love of her life.
The 18-year-old is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: 'You don't just stop loving someone because you stop going out with them. 'Beau was the first and greatest love of my life. We split because we realised the relationship had become a friendship. There was no drama, no screaming… It's important to move on.' Last month it was revealed the British blonde has landed her first movie role. The singer will make her acting debut alongside soccer star David Beckham in the upcoming sequel to football film 'Goal!'. The star will play a femme fatale who tries to steal the leading man, played by Mexican heartthrob Kuno Becker, from his long-term girlfriend, played by Anna Friel. An insider revealed: 'Joss is really pleased they've decided to go for her, even though she's not a trained actress. 'The role is kind of different to the way most people see her, as she's going to have to play a bit of a bitch - that's what she's looking forward to most!'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
