Gwyneth Paltrow takes stalker fears seriously

Gwyneth Paltrow is so scared of stalkers she has a hotline to the police.
The Oscar-winning beauty - who is married to Coldplay star Chris Martin - reportedly set up a speed dial to cops after she was harassed by an obsessed fan last year.
The actress was left terrified after the man started waiting for her outside her London home - and even followed her when she took her baby daughter, Apple, for walks. The stalker was cautioned but the star still lives in fear she will be hounded by fans. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: 'Gwyneth was really freaked out by the Belgravia incident. She would leave the house to go for a walk with Apple but she felt like she was being followed. 'And because of a really bad experience she had with an oddball stalker in America a few years ago, she decided to contact the police. She just wanted to feel safe when Chris was out recording.' Earlier this year the actress confessed she is terrified she will meet the same fate as Princess Diana. The star said the paparazzi are so relentless in pursuing her she fears she could be involved in a fatal accident - just as the princess was in a Paris car crash in 1997.Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
