'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson is being sent Bibles by furious Christians
who believe the magical movies are a work of evil.
The screen beauty, who plays the boy wizard's best friend Hermione Granger in the series, is building up a collection of the holy books from religious viewers who think she needs 'guidance'. The 15-year-old confessed: 'I have a collection of about 20 in my room. people think I need to be guided.'Meanwhile, the star has confessed she is desperate to appear on ballroom dancing TV show, 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The teenage actress revealed she enjoyed learning to waltz for the latest movie, 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', so much she would love to take part in the on screen competition. She confessed: 'I'm desperate to be on 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The best bit about doing the new 'Harry Potter' movie was that I got to learn how to waltz and now I've fallen in love with ballroom dancing. I know that Emma is a Christian. I don't know how I know that she is a Christian, but I just know.
Christian or not Emma Watson is still really sexy.
Emma is a 15-year-old religious actress i've ever heard!!! that's why i like her.......

I believe that Emma is a christian because she kept the bibles and reading the other comments she is probably a great person. Plus she is the pretiest girl I have ever seen in my life.

I think that Emma is probably Christian. If she said that she has 20 bibles then she most likely is! I also think she is because she kind of acts like it and she wore a cross for a necklace that one time. I've been dieing to hear that Emma is Christian for ages! I am Christian and it would be nice to know that my favorite actress ever is too! Because if I find out that she is for sure then I will be very happy! It will make me like her even more! The most important thing ever is loving and believing in Jesus! Jesus should be at the very top list of the people you love!
People need to understand her on-screen role isn't the same as reality. She's an ACTRESS. They're supposed to pretend to be someone they're not. It's ENTERTAINMENT. She's a wonderful actress, and I'm sure she's a nice person, but just because she plays a witch doesn't mean she IS one...

It doesn't matter whether Emma is Christian or not. Its really up to her and its her personal matter.What would you think if some stranger starts discussing your personal life? All i know is Emma is nice.She probably kept the bibles in good will,i don't know! If you want to compliment her, say something nice. She is just like any girl.Rushing things would only freak her out. p.s Freaks!!!!
Emma is 15 and still quite young, but she seems like she has a good head on her shoulders. Like any teen she has peer pressure to deal with. It's always interesting to see how fundamental religious factions react when some of the ones giving away bibles often don't read it themselves.
I hope she is a Christian but she says oh my then God and that is using Hisbame wrong but maybe she will be. i wrote her a letter telling her God loves her.
i think dat if emma is not a christain dat won't be a good thing. i'm a Nigerian and people know dat we are good at acting witch movies i mean bad ones most of the people who act this role as witches always have something to say and all they say is dat it affects their spiritual life some of them even had to stop acting because of this reason so i believe dat if she is a christain she won't even think of acting this at first and if shes not,...she rili needs God.
I am a Christian, and I love the Harry Potter movies and books! Emma Watson is one of my fav actresses so I would like it if she was a Christian. Personally, I think that the Christians that are sending Emma all those bibles because they just want her to be a good person, and not end up like Lindsay Lohan, or Brittney Spears. That's just my opinion.
What really matters here is whether or not these people should be sending her the bibles.
The statement has been made by many that she is simply an actress,and doesn't have to believe what she's acting. However this does not excuse anything she accepts to act, for instance, if she was to do indecent scenes she would be responsible for showing herself. In this case she is 'showing herself' in a different manner.
However, Emma did nothing wrong in this role. The books are full of majic, however majic is fantasy, an attempt to better understand how our world 'could' have been if majic really could be real. This is just like fantasizing about how our world 'could' have been like if there was no God. There is nothing wrong with that.
Also, the fact that Emma keeps 20 bibles shows that she is good at heart, and that she will not dispose of them based either on her belief in the book, or perhaps out of respect for those who sent the book.
All in all, Emma did nothing wrong by acting this role. There is no reason for Fundamentalists to try and save her when she did nothing wrong. And the fact that she kept the bibles has only increased her position with me.

From what I've read, Emma's a Christian also.
1. She kept the Bibles
2. She wears a Cross necklace
3. Her favorite gift is a Christening bracelet from her Dad
