Kylie Minogue too ill to fly home to Australia

Kylie Minogue has been left distraught after doctors told her she is too ill to fly home to Australia for Christmas.
The diminutive singer - who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year - had hoped to spend the holidays at home with her family.
But doctors have warned the 37-year-old star to wait until next year to make the long trip from Paris, where she is currently being treated. A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: 'Kylie's last chemo session is on December 18 which doesn't leave much time before Christmas Day. 'She has to have a blood cell count afterwards to check she is well enough to make the very long flight. Doctors have advised her she probably won't be up to it so she's decided to stay in Paris. 'She's distraught because it's going to be a very traumatic time for her rather than the happy family day she's planned.' Last month, it was revealed Kylie is planning to return to her native Australia to skydive over Ayer's Rock as soon as she is well. The singer told friends she wants to live life to the full after being diagnosed with cancer. She reportedly said: 'The time has come to live my life exactly how I want. It's something I always wanted to do.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
