Tara Reid curbed her wild partying at her 30th birthday – to please her mum.
The sexy actress, famed for her drunken antics, was on her best behaviour at the lavish bash, held at top Los Angeles nightclub Mood, because her mother was watching her every move.
One guest said: 'She wasn't falling all over the tables like she sometimes does. 'It might have something to do with the fact that her mum was sitting there eagle-eyeing her all night.' Tara, who shot to fame in teen comedy 'American Pie', still managed to have a good time on the landmark date and at one point took to the stage to play drums with the hired band. The reveller is quoted on America's MSNBC website as saying: 'She was wild and swinging her hair back and forth and the crowd was really getting into it. 'She turned around to freakdance with some guy and a hand reached out and pulled her away. It was her mum.' According to reports, none of Tara's celebrity friends attended the party so the blonde beauty slipped out of the bash to join pals, Paris Hilton and Leonardo DiCaprio, at a party at nearby club Privilege.Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
