Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt still friends?

Jennifer Aniston has admitted she and Brad Pitt are friends who have 'peaceful' chats together.
The former lovers, who have filed for divorce, stay regularly in touch with each other despite their painful break-up earlier this year.
The actress, who is allegedly dating co-star Vince Vaughn, told chat show Good Morning America: 'Do I talk to Brad? Yes, we do, I do. 'That's very peaceful. It's a really peaceful thing.' The former 'Friends' beauty, who shares her 'little beach house' in Malibu with her dog, Norman, described her new life as 'relaxed' and 'comfortable'. The star also admitted her heart has finally healed after the split. Aniston, who admitted she was stunned when she first saw photos of Pitt and his new lover Angelina Jolie together, claims she is no longer angry with him and has thanked her network of girlfriends for helping her put everything in perspective. She revealed: 'People want it to be this war and this mean, terrible, shallow thing that's just playing like some soap opera or storyline, and it's just not. So, yeah, pleasant, done. 'I have a lot of amazing women, you know, women in my life who have been an example for me of what not to do. Yes, I agree. I am glad they were able to get through their divorce amicably. It seemed like it was tough for a while, but it looks like they are doing the best they can to move on. As for Brad and Angelina, I think his involvement with charities is a PR move. People will start to think that they have the same goals, etc. but the bottom line is, he left his wife for his attraction for Angelina Jolie. I hope Jennifer Aniston finds true love someday because it seems like she really deserves someone who will respect and appreciate her.
You guys are so ignorant to bash Brad and Angelina on the
false adultery accusations! Brad Pitt is a dedicated
humanitarian and a political activist. It was Bono
who inspired him to join the One Campaign, which was
before he met Angelina Jolie. Brad Pitt is traveling
to third world nations, donating thousands of dollars
& supplies, meeting with political leaders, and is
an ambassador for the One Campaign and the unofficial
ambassador for DATA. He also recently narrated a documentary
on PBS, bringing awareness to the extreme poverty in Africa
and Asia. He is passionate and sincere about his philanthropy.
He is putting so much time and effort into this. He is
doing serious charity work. He using his celebrity and
the publicity to bring attention to good causes. Saying that
this is just a PR Act is so outrageous and so cruel.
The Jen fans are being so despicable to attack everything
about Brad Pitt: his morals, his character, his personality,
his talent, his looks, his humanitarian work, even the
paternal role he is playing to Maddox and Zahara. These
attacks have no merit, the Jen fans are just villifying
him because of the false rumors regarding his divorce
to Jennifer. Everytime there is news of Brad doing good
deeds or photos of him with Maddox & Zahara, the Jen
fans just twist it into a negative thing and call it a PR
stunt! Brad is a good person who is doing good things! I
am glad he has found true love and happiness with an amazing
woman who deserves him! Quit bashing him! Brad and Jennifer are
not friends, they had one or two conversations after the divorce.
Everything Jennifer says and does is misleading. I really don't want
to get into a nasty debate with the Jennifer fans. I know I have
crossed into Jen's turf and you guys will probably just ignore
everything I say. But I could not let such mean, untruthful
comments stand. I am also so fed up with people wrongly bashing
Brad Pitt. Go to the ' More on Pitt and Jolie Wedding' Article
and read the postings there. The people who post there explain
everything better. But the Jennifer fans are so blind in their
hatred of Brad Pitt, you guys will probably just ignore the
truth, and continue to bash Brad and Angelina anyway. And
continue to believe all the lies, rumors, and accusations
about this couple, just so you can have an excuse to bash them.
Quit bashing Brad and Angelina when you do not know
the truth! Brad Pitt cares deeply about political
and social issues, and the poverty crisis in the
third world nations. He is a genuine, hard working
humanitarian. He is directly and passionately involved
in these causes. It is reprehensible how the Jennifer
fans keep attacking every good thing he does
as a PR stunt. Brad does not care that cynical haters
like you are doubting his charity efforts, he will
continue to help people. I just wish he would get some
respect for it.
Brad and Angelina fans just stick to your own turf.
Avoid the Jennifer articles. The Jennifer fans are
just going to ignore everything you say anyway.
I just want peace and civility on these messageboards.
They are divorced, just move on people! No more
derogatory comments towards Brad, Angie, and Jen.
Let's just respect all three of them and wish them

I don't mean to hurt Brangelina fans. I still believe that Angelina and Brad Pitt are not saints and that they are aware that their involvement with humanitarian efforts could gain them good PR mileage and god-like images. They attend high profile conventions that would draw attention to them and away from the real issues of poverty. So they should expect some criticisms also from people (not just from movie buff) who are genuinely concern for the plight of impoverished nations. so there.
Their moves are well calculated. It is Brad and angelina who will gain more in their new advocacy. But as long as they pour in money for the less fortunate people, they could succeed in educating readers about poverty. I guess PR image building is at a price.

are twisting their charity work into a negative thing.
Brad and Angelina are genuine humanitarians. They
are not the ones who are obsessed about image control
and popularity like Jennifer. They are attending press
conferences because it is part of their jobs as ambassadors.
She is a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, was an ambassador before
she met Brad. Brad became involved in humanitarian work before
he met Angelina. He works for the One Campaign. They are not
doing this for themselves or for the media, they are doing
it because they passionately care about the people and the
issues. So you are telling me, that Brad and Angelina are
spending thousands of dollars, traveling to third world
countries, giving all of this aid, and putting forth all of
this effort just for the sake of PR? You are such a
cynical creep! They are using the PR for good. It is getting
so much attention because of their celebrity status. The
media and paparazzi are tracking their every move. Every
move they have made is good. Brad and Angelina have never
portrayed themselves to be saints and they have never
acted high and mighty. They are for real. Jennifer is the
one with the false persona! She is no sweetheart, angel,
golden girl, or victim. She plays up her false persona to
manipulate idiots like you. Brad and Angie don't have
personas, they are just being who they are.

Actually, it was Jennifer Aniston who introduced Brad Pitt to Bono and the Aids in Africa cause in 2004 while they were still married. They as a married couple head a celebrity dinner at their home to make other high profile celebs aware of the need. Brad and Jennifer even went so far as to travel to Ethiopia in 2004, and tour the Aid's Orphanages, where Jennifer fell in love with a little girl. Jennifer wanted to adopt the little orphaned girl, however at that time Brad wanted biological children and nixed the adoption. It was during this time, post Friends, that Brad and Jennifer began efforts to have a child. A nursery was added to their home at great expense, and all went well. Until.
