Joaquin Phoenix hopping mad?

Joaquin Phoenix baffled reporters when he asked them if he had a frog on his head.
Sources claim the actor has been 'acting very oddly' while promoting his new movie, Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk The Line', prompting fears he may be 'on the verge of a nervous breakdown'.
At the film's recent Los Angeles premiere, Joaquin - who also stormed out of a round of interviews the day before - asked reporters: 'Do I have a large frog in my hair? Something's crawling out of my scalp. 'I'm not worried about the looks. I'm worried about the sensation of my brain being eaten... What did you ask me?' However, the star's publicist, Sue Patricola, insists there is nothing wrong with him. She told America's New York Post newspaper: 'I think a fly flew on his head. I was standing right there and was laughing with him. He then went right back to the press line. He's doing interviews every damn day. And no, he's not having a nervous breakdown and is still sober. He's fantastic.' Earlier this year, Joaquin - whose brother River died of a drug overdose in 1993 - checked into rehab to battle alcohol addiction. His spokeswoman said at the time: 'Joaquin was uncomfortable with the way that he was living his life and found the courage to deal with his disease.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
