David Beckham learns how to teach children soccer

David Beckham is going back to school - to learn how to teach children soccer.
The football ace - who has three sons with wife Victoria Beckham - has been told to sign up for the course to help make coaching safer for youngsters.
The athlete, who must complete the course before he can teach at the football training schools he is opening across the UK and the US, will be taught how to spot signs of abuse - and how to stop himself being under suspicion. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: 'David will enroll on the two courses along with everyone else in the FA. 'David will learn how to look out for signs of abuse and how to interact with his trainees in a safe manner. You have to avoid being in one-to-one situations while training kids. Especially someone as famous as Beckham. There'll be horrible people looking for excuses to sue him. It's all part of the world we live in now.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
