Robbie Williams talks magic
Oct 11, 2005, 10:00 GMT
Robbie Williams once cast a spell to get a female celebrity to go on a date with him - and it worked.
The pop heartthrob, who is currently single, spotted the woman on TV and decided he wanted to meet her.
So he created a magic symbol called a sigil in his head and projected it from his mind in an attempt to get to meet the mystery lady.
Amazingly, Robbie's spell worked and he bumped into her the very next day. He revealed: "I saw this girl on TV that I liked the look of, so I cast a spell. I made a sigil and then sent it out.
"The very next day, I went to a restaurant and, no word of a lie, the only available seat was next to her. So it worked and we went out on a date after that."
However, Robbie admits his magic plan backfired when the woman - who he refuses to identify - turned out to be "mental".
He told British radio station Chiltern FM: "She was a bit of a mental. I know I'm a mental, but she was nasty mental."
Meanwhile, Robbie has encouraged his fans to get into magic.
He said: "If you want to find out more about sigils, look it up on the internet."
