Joss Stone has landed her first movie role.
The teenage soul singer will make her acting debut alongside soccer star David Beckham in the upcoming sequel to football film 'Goal! '.
The beauty will play a femme fatale who tries to steal the leading man, played by Mexican heartthrob Kuno Becker, from his long-term girlfriend, played by British actress Anna Friel.
An insider revealed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Joss is really pleased they've decided to go for her, even though she's not a trained actress.
'The role is kind of different to the way most people see her, as she's going to have to play a bit of a bitch - that's what she's looking forward to most!'
Although the role may include some steamy scenes, Joss recently slammed female stars who pose semi-naked for magazines.
The soul sensation - who has refused several offers to strip for men's magazines - says ambitious celebrities who appear topless or in skimpy underwear are 'disgusting'.
She said: 'It's disgusting the way these girls prance around in their knickers on the cover of magazines.
'I can understand it if you're a model, but if you're a singer it undermines everything and suggests you're actually rubbish at what you do.'
