Kate Moss missed her daughter's third birthday due to rehab

Kate Moss missed her daughter's third birthday yesterday (29.09.05) - because she is in rehab battling her cocaine addiction.

The supermodel's daughter, Lila Grace, celebrated the special day with a party with her grandparents, nanny and around 40 friends held at Kate's lavish London home.

After the bash, the tot joined her tiny pals at nearby children's activity centre, Topsy Turvy, to enjoy the rest of the day playing.

However, Kate - who earlier this month was pictured snorting lines of cocaine - was miles away in the US after checking herself into the renowned Meadows rehabilitation centre, in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday (24.09.05) to try and overcome her drug habit.

The rules of the clinic state that patients are allowed no contact with the outside world, including no telephone calls, but after allegedly begging bosses it is believed Kate was allowed to phone her daughter to wish her a happy birthday.

The catwalk queen is not believed to have seen Lila, who is being cared for by her grandparents and nanny, since before news of her cocaine use broke and is heartbroken over missing her special day.

Kate - who has been dropped by several top fashion houses, including Chanel, Burberry and H+M, since her cocaine exposé - will now undergo an intensive 30-day treatment course, including regular group therapy sessions, at the clinic to try and beat her addiction.
