Charlize Theron gets her star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Charlize Theron has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Oscar-winning actress was thrilled as she unveiled the star on Hollywood Boulevard.
The South African beauty said: "I had big dreams when I came here, but this is an incredibly amazing gift - two cherries on top of the cake."
Honorary Mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant added: "I must admit just her presence here this morning gave my pacemaker a vigorous jump-start."
Charlize was joined by her mother, Gerda, who persuaded her model daughter to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
And the blonde beauty's pavement star had extra special meaning because it is just blocks away from where she was first "discovered".
Charlize's agent first spotted her acting talents after she went "nuts" in a Hollywood bank.
The stunning actress was left furious after a bank cashier refused to cash a cheque her mother had sent her.
So she gave the clerk a piece of her mind - not knowing she was being watched by the man who would give her the break she wanted.
She recalled: "I went to a bank on Hollywood Boulevard to cash a cheque my mother had sent me. A clerk refused it and I just went nuts.
"After the shouting was over, a man handed me his business card and told me to get in touch. I thought he was just another guy full of bulls**t but he turned out to be a genuine talent manager called John Crosby."
