More on Michael Jackson's reinvention
Sep 27, 2005, 12:12 GMT
Michael Jackson is planning to reinvent himself as a girl-chasing rapper - in a bid to resurrect his pop career.
The eccentric singer is allegedly undergoing a complete style overhaul to try and shake off his weird reputation since he was acquitted of all charges in his child sex abuse trial.
Michael C. Luckman, author of 'Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Connection', claims the 'Billie Jean' singer, who is currently living in Bahrain as a guest of the royal family, is to release a new album with a new harder sound portraying himself as a womanising hip-hop star.
He said: "Soon you will see Jackson surrounded by beautiful women."
Earlier this month, Luckman claimed Jackson was pumping iron in Bahrain to make himself more "macho."
The music biographer claims the pop superstar, who recently turned 47, is living in virtual seclusion because he is undergoing strenuous exercise programme with a personal trainer, involving heavy weight lifting, and is ditching his trademark long wigs and penchant for wearing make-up to appear less strange.
Luckman said at the time: "Michael Jackson is headed to the stratosphere. Nothing can stop him now."
