Elle Macpherson has spoken out in support of fellow model Kate Moss.
The Australian beauty has sympathised with the troubled catwalk queen, who has lost four lucrative modelling contracts after she was caught taking cocaine.
She told Britain's 'GMTV' programme: "I think Kate's in a very uncomfortable position but when you lead a public life, your personal gets scrutinised.
"I'm sure it's a very difficult moment for her right now, but for anybody in the public eye it's very difficult."
Meanwhile, Elle has confessed she once visited a plastic surgeon because she was so depressed about her looks.
The stunning supermodel, who suffered post-natal depression after the birth of her second son, has revealed she was feeling so down she considered going under the knife to boost her self-esteem.
She admitted to Britain's You magazine: "I said to him, 'I look terrible at the moment, what can you do for me?' and he replied, 'Go home. You're perfect on the outside but you have to work on the inside.'
"I thought that was genius."
