Eva Longoria's boyfriend was so furious when the French press claimed she would two-time a lover he threatened to complain to the mayor of Paris.
Basketball star Tony Parker, who has been dating the 'Desperate Housewives' actress for several months, was left fuming when he read an interview with Eva, in which she admitted her relationships always "overlap".
But when the brunette beauty explained the interview was old, Tony vowed to take action.
Eva revealed to America's New York Post newspaper: "The French tabloids are regurgitating a bunch of old interviews I gave a long time ago where I said I wouldn't mind dating several guys at once. So now they are printing: 'Eva cheats on Tony!' and Tony is so upset he offered to call the mayor of Paris who knows the tabloid people to try and stop it.
"He just wants to protect me. He is so great."
In the interview, which was published in Eve magazine, the sexy star confessed: "I end up overlapping people because I know I'm over the relationship, so I move on without telling them. It's not good. I've never broken up with someone successfully."
